We can offer the following services:
Conversion services for hardcopy books into digital multimedia EPUB books compatible with most tablets and devices. We are not graphic designers but we do have the skills and connections to produce excellent EPUBs.
Access to a secure online bookstore with an existing range of self-published and secondhand Australian history books. Your books are exposed to a readership that is already buyers of Australian history books.
Provide you with a “buy now” hyperlink that can be used on your own website, emails and social media sites.
An Abebook (owned by Amazon) account. We cover the infrastructures costs, and you reap the benefit of international exposure.
If you intend to have a book launch or are selling your books direct at special events, we have a EFTPOS solution.
Our costs
We charge an upfront fee for the conversion services. The cost depends on the complexity of the job but is usually in the $100 - $300 range. We take a 10% commission on each sale.
Our hardcopy sale's commission is 30%. As we are a small company and are not registered for GST, you will find our commission lower than large book retailers.
Our charges are lower compared to other bookstores because you are doing most of the hard work marketing your book. As your books sell through our bookstore, our web traffic grows, opening up more selling opportunities.
As sales increase, we will add more sales channels including Amazon, Apple iBooks and Google Book Play.
